This was the last song Xavier did before his encore at The Enmore the other week. For me this song went off. Maybe it was just The Enmore, with all the people singing badly and loudly or maybe it was the lighting when he was doing the instrumental part to this song. But for some reason this song really stuck with me that night.
He said before he played the song that this is about a very special woman to him. I was thinking what his wife, but that wouldn't make sense, but then he said it's about Mother Earth. Which was easy to work out anyway.
Xavier Rudd is one of the most talented if not the most talented musician ever to come out of Australia, he is so good with his lyrics, so talented with his instruments, and what he is doing with the Aboriginal people is truly inspirational, I'm really glad Australia can produce such good musicians.
