Not entirely sure about this but, i know this song is about dying as you can probably tell. And I think that this song is, well, pretend you are the light of a light house and all the bad lost souls of evil is rowing their boat to you, the light source, and when they reach you all they do is cause grims and depression and all the suffering they had and the only thing hey do to you is make you crazy and cause death and when you die, the light goes out and your now part of the lost souls and then you find another source of light and the cycle continos forever
