I think it's about the pain that one goes through when a relationship doesn't have closure....she's unable to "bury" him in the ground, and she "should have left [him] dead"....it says that he was obviously upset when the relationship ended because he was in love with her, but now she just makes it worse by going back and forth.
I don't know...that's what I thought....I basically got that the main themes were: pain, break-up, closure (or lack of in this case), and some damage that can't be repaired (i.e. the pain that he experienced when he was dumped).
