To me, What I'm thinking is the Title, The Handsome Life of Swing....Don't they mean swing, as in swinging?
I mean, I'm not saying I'm completely right but the first bit..."Write to someone". the fact that it's just "someone" is like they're swinging. I think the rest can be put into that perspective too.
