As for the lyircs...wow...my view on this is that the only way to understand these lyrics is to see things through their eyes, to know their feelings and what they were thinking at the time. But that won't ever happen, so I might as well take a shot.
It seems to be about the frustrations of life and how one can go completely insane just by the similarity of each day as one lives their life on a day-to-day basis. It's like...you lose control, even though there's nothing to lose control of.
