First of all...I ADORE THIS SONG.
i feel like I can completely relate to it.
Personally I dont really think that the "new guy" is a rebound. I think that she is actually happy that she found him because she refers to him as her saviour(you came along...when i need a saviour), yet she is still cautious because of the damage that her ex left behind.
Though i must admit, PotholesinMyLawn made a good point about her still being in the relationship (that made me think).
She also says, "here I am," as if she is giving herself to the new person but, as i said before, just a tad bit apprehensive because she does not want to be hurt.
