Well this song is most defiantly a love song.

I think it's about a girl who is put down for certain things and then the "men" enjoy trash-talking her for whatever reason. The violins can be her meaning of tranquility and peace; they're something that makes her happy.

When she sings "They say the most horrible things", it means that the men, were saying horrible things to her (obviously) and when she hears violins she feels at peace. When she closes her eyes, she blocks out the world and is in the "center of the sun" so she can't be hurt anymore as long as she believes that.

And the boy hears all the men putting the girl down and follows them. When it says, "He's out of his head", it means that he obviously is angry with the men for putting the girl down.

And then when the boy sees the girl alone and asks her, "Have you lost your way home?", that gives her a feeling that someone actually cares about her so tells him, or sings, "You say the most beautiful things, just like my violins," It can mean he's made her feel happier, just like her violins.

And when it says, "When I look into your eyes, I am at the center of the sun", it means that when they look into each other's eyes, they both feel at peace and then no one can ever hurt them again because they have each other.

Well that's what I think.
