I agree but i also feel there's more to it... he knows it's over but he keeps trying that's why 'sentiments, hopeless' and it's about to be over but it's not quit which is why he still says 'say hello to alone again' but they are definitely in the middle of a fight when the song starts... and he's not ready to give up cuz he says 'Someday we might find, some sacred place in time'... at least that's what i think...
