A few of you touched on good points, but to be honest, as a Jew in the southern region of our country, this song has pretty personal meaning to me, because you know, I may not be the most devout Jewish person (I chase my milk with Ham, a reference to not keeping Kosher), and although the Jews have not been perfect in their existence(we broke our promised land), the religion that dominates this country, and has been responsible for the majority of the anti-semitic actions over time, was founded and based upon Judaism and that will never change.
