This song creepily fits two of my characters. It's kind of scary, actually...but anyways, what i think this song means is something like this- He used to hate this girl for some unspecified reason, and thought he always would, but then he starts falling in love with her.
Stood on the rooftop scream at the sky again= he's angry that he can't control how he feels
Ugly is beautiful= what used to be ugly to him is suddenly wonderful
All the words we throw away/like paper cuts they just keep piling= whenever he tries to talk to her he can't do it, and every time he tries and fails it cuts him
End of the world we've known= life as they knew it isn't working out anymore, it's changed irrevocably
