i listened to this song almost exclusively (alone with so much for my happy ending) when my ex dumped me a year and a half ago. it was great. now it has assumed a different meaning; i listen to it when my mother proves to me again that she doesn't care about anyone but herself. it's an excellent song for when you've been betrayed by someone close to you.
