Sounds cynical, but its true. One of the 'unforgivable sins' (intersting name, considering "every sin can be forgiven"..) is that if you "hear the word of God" and "don't observe it", you cannot go to Heaven. Basically, if you know of Christianity, but choose not to follow it, you're fucked.
It's pretty messed up. Props to Streetlight for really getting this idea across.
