i think the title is important..
people who sleepwalk can pretty much do anything and get away with it, because they're not in control of their bodies, their dreams are. there was actually a case of someone being acquitted for murder a couple years ago just because they were sleepwalking at the time. i think this is about a guy who cheats, but who tries to free himself from any responsibility for it by saying he was just sleepwalking. you could take that in a metaphorical sense too.
