For me, simply, Enemies of Reality is about group of people who think different, who sense different, see things in different way. This could be some very general group, such as people listening to metal in the realm of pop music, but could be also more specific. Digging into the song, thru analisys, you can come to conclusion, that song tells about people who do not accept the world in the form it's massively sold in the world, but who search for the truth.
Point of view of this group is often very different than the others, you can trace other songs from album and from other albums, to see the same logic, because Nevermore seem to follow same logic all the time. You have "Ambivalent", "I voyager", you have "Seed Awakening" and masses of other songs which tell about same topic.
The logic of drugs takes you the right direction, but not best place. About drugs you can listen for example in "Inside four walls" and whole band tells that directly.
For me the group here, which I was talking about, is people who comprehend and understand world in the different, other way. In the Nevermore's way. They have some philosophic ideas about life, about truth, about other people and Enemies of Reality is just people who think in same way as they think. Worms up here is mainly same point of view, but it can mean also songs, lyrics. They give you their hand to take and follow, to "infect" you with their way of thinking, of knowing.
And for me it's OK. I am the enemy. I became enemy too...
