and yeah, on the meaning..this does remind me of taking comfort in your faith, too....i mean, 'you won't go down alone' and 'it's only my second home'...etc.
i'm glad that he says it's only your second home though...because you can't just depend on the fact that you're faithful in the church..but it sounds like he's saying his faith calms him down, 'eases his bones', and i guess having that faith gives him the realization that even though he's being filed and forgotten, at least when it's all over he won't go down alone.
it seems like it's a lot about life, too, and it's like as if he's saying that his bones have all of the markings and scars from his life..and how he's got so much to say and so little time..
