They are are frequently used by the masses in riots against police baricades or other forms of physical oppresion. The song it's self is a call to arms against your oppressers or the "upper echelon". It's a song of rebellion hence the phrase:"breaking, Tear down the wall, upper echelon, blackest of them all".
