one of my favourite songs. as far as i see, he's saying he's not caring enough for someone that he has feelings for (i conclude he has feelings because of the line: i sat alone with my thoughts... for you). which seems a contradiction, but in this case i guess it isn't, or well it is, but that's what the song's about. about trying your best and still seeming to do everything wrong. trying to be someone you want to be (living a lie that i cannot satisfy) but failing because you're just your own absentminded self that is going right in against all that should be (much against everyones advice). but this is just my fucked up opinion. :D let me know what you think.
