i heard this song for the first time a couple weeks ago and fell in love with it in literally two seconds of hearing it.
I love how he goes from saying "love is the only answer / everything else is just a train wreck"
to "sounds to simple / love is the only answer / when love's a train wreck you're a mistake"
It seems like he is taking back his words and deciding that we want the only answer to be love; but, in reality that isn't the case and that love can't be the only asnwer, as much as we all want it to be. Sometimes love actually becomes a trainwreak because we try so hard to make it perfect and exactly how it "should" be.
no matter what though, this is a beautiful song, so much emotion and truth to it.
