I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about this band after Save It broke up. But these lyrics completely won me over. They're so real and vivid. They pinpoint the emotions of someone who is losing someone they've had for a long time exactly. I'm not sure if they meant this to literally mean someone is dying as the lyrics hint at, or if that's just a sort of figure of speaking. As in, these two are just going seperate ways now. either way these are brilliant lyrics, very beautifully written.
I am pretty sure that this song is talking about Daniel Lancasters father. He died sometime in 2007. The song "Forever My Father" by Go Radio is a song where Jason, Erin, and Daniel Lancaster all sing about their father's death. I can only assume this is Daniel's lyrical tribute.
