I really love this song, it's great.
It reminds me of my first Travis concert, because the keyboard part was played by Claes, a swedish musician and Travis wanted the audience to point at him while he's playing. It was great fun. I love the way Fran sings this part with "In twenty years from now.." ;)
All in all I think that this song is about a broken-up relationship. He wants to tell his ex-girlfriend that he's not missing her. He's happier now than he was before.
"Anything you're giving isn't worth this good feeling" lets me think of it that way, but also the line "in twenty years from now I'll be the same and you'll be changing all the letters in your maiden name". He knows, that he lost her and that she'll marry someone else - of course he is still a bit disappointed but also angry about her breaking up with him, but in a sullen way. Maybe she wants him back... but he refuses. Don't know.. ;)
