I think these lyrics are a bit off though.Anyways I think that the song is about a girl who gets with different guys to take her mind off the one who she really wants to be with even though these guys are superficial... im not sure thats the right choice of words but she always outs herself in the same situation and she wish she didnt. obviously. well that is how i relate to it.
