I know this is a religious band, so this is probably a song about the realization that not everyone is as loyal to God as they were meant to be. And he's feeling that since God is always there for each of us, that we need to be there for him and we need to serve him. This is also kind of a wake up call to him and he's wanting to start over or try harder to serve God now.
I might be a bit off at parts, but for the most part I think the meaning of the song is blatantly obvious.
It's one of their better songs though Cocaine is still my favorite.
