I just heard this song now! It's ironic that it's October 16th right now, too. Based from my own personal experience, this song reminds me a lot about how two people become so close at the same time liking each other a lot when they were younger, but as they continue to hide their feelings for one another, they eventually part ways and get on with their lives as they grow older... but the secret is still hidden, and the feeling is still there.
