I could be completely wrong with this but here's what I get. It's about living dangerously in denial. The need to wake up or come back to reality and quit lying to one's self. The fast paced feel of the song and the strong yelling singing give the feeling of a fight like the writer/singer is trying fighting with someone to snap out of it. It really is a great connection between the feel of the song and the lyrics.
Plus its a great bass line and that's just cool.
