Sorry man, hat e to break it to you but "In lock with the buzzing sound" makes no literal or symbolic sense. Maybe if the buzzing sound were referenced somewhere else in the song but it's not. It is a cool song though, it's one of the reasons this album is one of my Top Ten all-time. Seems to me this guy is in a bitter relationship and is tired of all the fighting, he's saying he doesn't care anymore what got said and what didn't, and it's breaking him down. Hmmm, sounds like my last marriage!
