This is sooo much like the books, where a huge battle between heaven and hell is going on, with many people doing what they think is right even though many of those things are wrong, and where innocence is just as easily massacred as evil.

The song- I think it's about one person, or maybe many, coming to realise that their world is not what they thought, and opening their mind to the truth - that is deep and dark, and realising they've been living a lie. And that through it all, they have to stand tall and somehow keep going, even though most likely at the next step they'll be slaughtered.
