Such a shame it didn't make the album though? It's an excellent song. I'm thinking the chorus might be about the inevitability of death (Nightingale reference suggests death, and the following line suggests the inevitability), and how love can distract you from this. Then again it is Nightwish so getting a clear cut meaning from the lyrics is near-impossible.
