This song is very important regarding many of the changes the Earth is undergoing. Which my response to it wont be taken lightly, and will be subject to critisizm.

Upon the brink of 2012 mankind is said to be making a "Leap In Consciousness" We are going to "Evolve" as a species, not physically but spiritually. This will definetly be "the end of linear time" because time as we know it, is not linear.
When he speaks of "progress or termination" its clear he is referring to the Ascension process of our evolution or be subject to cataclysmic events. Which one theory of 2012 is that an asteroid will collide with the Earth, which I don't believe will happen.

Will we perish or rise with the tide
When the waters of consequence
Comes rushing forth"
This is pretty straight forward. Will WE as a species "rise with the tide" ascend or be terminated because of the negative choices the world has made as a whole, hence
"the waters of consequence"
"A dimensional shift
Leap in consciousness
Or a dire destiny
Asteroid fatality"
This is straight forward as well in regards to what I've already stated. A dimensional shift which is the ascension process from our current 3rd density world to a 4th density world. Or we all die of an asteroid.
So overall the demise of 2012 would be the demise of "the world as we know it" and the re-birth of a brand new beginning for mankind.
This band, or atleast their lyrics are HIGHLY metaphysical and revolutionary.

i somewhat think its possible i dont think some freak thing will happen but we can end the world at the drop of a dime,as we advance so does our weaponry and ego,at some point someone will piss us off and will start a nuclear war and no more man kind.that what i get out of the newness theory but im sure im dead worng but still think about it. song is bad ass stady dub bass.
