This song to me is how everybody wants to rectify themselves, and amend their imperfections every new year, but they have no way of ever resolving them. It almost seems like he has to reassure himself that this is the year that's going to bring about the change he's been waiting for (This year let's live like we've never lived before, this is my year for sure)... this lawrence arm's song always depresses me :(
