so it seems some of you have realized that this song it actually a few different songs, and i think it would be a stretch to try and find a consitent meaning in it because of that. however, i think i can add a little explaination to this song.

first of all, d0zs, its not about drugs....well at least not the cut it ya match it part. cut it ya match it is in reference to basically 'cut&paste'ing lyrics from different songs together, and the "final cut" is the song you get when your done. in this case, the lyrics are stuff that chad has written/is in the process of writing*.

obviously a good portion of this song is from Just Like Larry, and while the verses

"cause it's a manifest destiny like a genocide recipe telling lords that wrestle me to be my own race challenge your god dont underestimate the fate of a preordained mass

where are my boots and where the hell is my balance the hell you did come down from your planet to see a cocking of a gun oh come if you're gunna get some"

may have been played along with Just Like Larry when done live, they are a different set of lyrics entirely. these verses are now part of a State Radio** song by the name of Revolutionaries***.

in Revolutionaries, the lyrics have evolved slighty into this (keep in mind im doing this mostly by ear, and i think some of the lyrics above may be wrong to begin with):

"it's a manifest destiny like a genocide rceipe tellin the knowledge that rests in me to fear my own race challenge your god enough to think of your callous don't underestimate the fate of pre-ordained malice,

where are my boots and where the hell is my ballast the hell you did come down from your palace to see us all, reaching up, to see us all, reaching up..."

it wouldnt surprise if more of the lyrics form cut it ya match it could be found in State Radio songs, Revolutionaries is just the one i happened to notice....anyway, hope that helps.

oh and by the way, i love this song, especially the last two verses about the guys, dunno if those are real lyrics or just messin around...

footnotes: *its possible some of it is chad and pete's stuff too, so if a braddigan/pete francis fan wants to take a stab at seeing if any lyrics match up thatd be awesome, my knowledge of their solo music is a lot more limited

**if you didn't know that State Radio is the band Chad formed after Dispatch disbanded (well, actually it was formed during the 'spatch hiatus)

***Revolutionaries is a State Radio song thats been played for a long time in live concerts, and is finally being released on a studio album. it can be found on the new album "Year of the Crow" as well as the ep that preceded the album, "Wicker Plane." if anybody is into downloading live music there are a few different copies of the song live that can be found on internetarchive.org

it was a joke
