This is eerily like my life right now. (Yes, random sharing of personal story to relate to song will follow)
I love a guy named Mike, and I want to be with him because I don't want to be alone. I want to rush things just so I can be with him. My friends tell me to get over him, he's too pessimistic for me, he's a jerk, etc.
But I love him. I don't quite hate him, but he can bug the crap out of me. But I honestly can't just forget about him.
So. I think it mirrors my situation- wanting someone, and wanting them now, despite the fact that it's wrong.
