you had a right to laugh crimsonangel... the song is a satire.. they wrote the song to mock the style of pop rock bands like green day and such... did anyone look at the lyrics??

1st verse the people are leaving their past trying to get into the next big fad.. when they get the chance they look back at the past

2nd verse he finds what they do sad gets rid of all the hype and bs he sweeps the bs out of sight, but he realizes he needs his brain, his thoughts, memories and intelligence more than anything to get out of this situation

im falling down... "im tired of trying to clean up the mess" chorus basically the person is suicidal because they ignore their past and get caught up in the fads and are caught between two worlds they hear voices, telling them to kill themselves or something similar and atreyu is saying shut the hell up, live your life, were all dying in the end

this song is in no way like suicide notes... it is totally different in every way i can think of... but it is still an awesome song, one of my faves of the cd...
