Amy Correia is quickly becoming one of my favorite singers/songwriters. She's simply wonderful. I cannot believe what little attention she gets, even in the indie/alternative scene. Honestly, it's almost nonexistent!
The lyrics are pretty self evident here. Straightforward yet laced with beautiful imagery and heart-aching eloquence, like most of her songs. I think one of the things that draws me to Amy is the utter sincerity in her words. That's a rare thing among artists these days. Make no mistake, this isn't just a love song for the sake of a love song.
