It seems like he is trying to get over his past lover/ex. He did something to make her leave, and he is trying to apologize to her, and trying to forget the wrong that he did, but she's giving him a hard time and doesn't allow him to forget his past.
He wants to talk to her about how he got over her. He wants to tell her that he's finally over her like she is over him.. but not now.. someday...
