I've heard the title was an overheard romantic comment, with the second"over" meaning "because of" (e.g. "We were arguing over something silly")--so 'If I had to go through everything again, I'd do it all because of you.' Of course, whoever overheard it seized on the double entendre.

Pye's lyrics ("Gimme that stuff...") seem to be about wanting love and doing anything to get it, (which fits with the non-perverse meaning of the title), since after saying "gimme that stuff...enough to slow me down", he says "lovin' is the stuff...that slows me down".

I like the looping "Who do you think you are?" vocal and the way they made a cheery little pop song with an odd time signature (7/4)--beating out Pink Floyd's "Money" and Peter Gabriel's "Salisbury Hill" by a f ew years.
