I think they are using Peacock as a euphamism. I think she won't swallow something else...that sounds a lot like Peacock. I think she is saying she refuses to do what the husband would like in bed. She feels that it isn't a part of the wife's duties. I doubt it has anything to do with the dish. Also, Henry was something of a glutton, and I have heard many things he liked to eat. the problem with Henry is the he was neither ugly nor old when he married Catherine. It doesn't really exactly fit any of the wives....
