I'm not sure exactly what it means, but it touches me, in both lyrics and the music
I think it is about two people who were close, and now there is distance and awkwardness...and the singer just wants the other person to say "I miss you", or "I love you", or just anything, anything at all other then walking away or pretending like it means nothing...
