He even had the nerve to change the lyric from "you were a sleeparound" to "you were a runaround", presumably because the average Gray fan might burst into tears if the great man sang anything that wasn't housewife-friendly. I detest Gray forever for the grievous murder he inflicted on this song.

@Urban Cannibal and @jmcussen I tend to agree that a cover should be the artists interpretation of the song, otherwise it is simply karaoke. It is ok to prefer the original or to prefer the cover ... everyone has different tastes.
