Funny thing is, this guy thinks it does, so much so that no love lasts. "Then again it can all go up in flames" -- as though there's still 'that' option. She doesn't say "I love you" and here is where the song blurs for me. There's the clear, they have sex again, and she's really fucked up ("but I love a good trainwreck"). Then he goes and kills her. Or there's the... He turns her over, pins her down and says as he looks into her eyes, "Promise you that this is forever or till one of us dies". Which would ensue a threat. Which leads me to believe that she then gets raped. Hence:
