answering (TooHardToLetYouGo) I think ppl around them has to do with their breaking under.. I think the couple are deeply in love clear when he says(falling off a building) " the building" stands for their strong love, steady & firm. "look at them running off the sidewalk" He wants to say that everybody runs from the side walk (normally everyone runs away from falling apart) but his point is that how could they do that while are the reason for pushing me and you to the edge and make us fall separated from each other by FORCE!!!
