wow guys talking about way off..dax riggs personally told me after a show in panama city beach florida at my buddies house the song was about a girl at a bar that everyone was passing around sexually and we all treated her badly and she was raped and killed on the beach during spring break. burning your black flags was kinda a joke in it'self cause we have flag warnings for the rip current greed ok to swim yellow at risk red no swimming ....guess black means death was kinda like a sick joke about that..but the like zombies eating dust in mexico ..mexico beach is right around the corner and the girl was strangled im on the beach itself
he didn't care for this girl like a girlfriend she was more of a groupy they have a sorta cult following..it was all rather sad it was after a show they did and she left was some stranger and he felt quilty ...end of story it was big news in our town. never be another one that bleeds like you mean no one can replace her ...soud of the ocean is dead ...etc etc.
i know this for fact cause he told me himself after a show like 2 months later he spent the night at a friend of mines cousins house and i hung out with him and the sammy all night ...ps. he likes black cats hahaha inside joke he knows what im talking about...yeah this band came here alot i saw them every weekend for about a year they did a mini self tour...btw dax has a son now grats bro
