to me, this song is about a guy that has seriously liked/loved a girl (or something else) for a v.long time and all he can think of is her, hes been waiting for so long that the "waiting is the best part" because it means something can still happen even though he wishes he doesnt feel that way anymore. he wants one more glimpse, one last time with her cos then he could get over her?
