I think this song is about two girls who were going after the same guy. The speaker is trying to be civil about the situation, but she admits that the other girl is pretty much brainless, although pretty. She thinks that she's gonna lose the battle with the other girl because she doesn't have her face. The other girl then takes matters into her own hands by trying to make the speaker look bad ("Then she chose to dissect me..."). The speaker says that she's wrong, but in the end doesn't really care either way because they'll all end up parting relatively peacefully. She's also thankful that she was a part of the whole thing, although it drove her insane, because it ultimately made her stronger.
