"Call me the dark angel" was a note. If you look carefully you can pick out the notes from songs. This, and the final part of "i want to master life and death" are pretty obviously showing that he thinks he is an angel of death.

I think he killed her, to keep her pure. "don't touch me, don't trust me" She's obviously religious, and seemingly wants him, hence him having to tell her not to tempt him. Crooked cross, religious but going astray.. if he kills her, she stays pure, merely a victim.

"Forgot my name, forgot where I came from, i died getting here, make me gold, I'm waiting."

This is not the only reference he makes of his death.

"i walked and search for 18 years and died for nothing" is stated in another song.

I don't know what to make of him speaking of his death. He's alive.. so.. hm. Must mean figurative. Also, in "I want to master life and death" he mentions someone killing him. "i'll do for you what you did to me, even kill", and "you tore through my neck"

He thinks he died..
