i think this song, for one, is amazing. this entire CD is beautiful and completely genious. a little more dance-able than previous ones?

i think this song is about a relationship where a guy knows he's being played and just acts stupid about it. also, i think it's saying that you can make yourself believe whatever you want about a person. like, if you build them up in your mind how you want them to be, you'll believe it if you want to. he's not being true to himself because he's putting up a front of "not knowing" what's really going on.

does anyone have any comments about what the paradox of the song is? my idea is that people try to act like someone they arn't to impress someone, but at the same time, everyone is trying to act like someone they arn't.. so why can't we just all be ourselves? that reminds me of his tatoo, "all the worlds a stage"

idea #2: its a paradox that the girl he thought loved him is now trying to make a fool out of him.
