I think it means she is dedicating her life to God and sometimes she wonders why she's doing this, because she's so tired and confused.. The first line means that maybe the people close to her don't really believe in God and think it's stupid to live for God. They know that others may not accept them for putting their faith in God, trying to live by His laws, and just living their life for God.
