Lyric discussion by Drugo

"Backs lying in the field, we wait for the wheat to grow so that we can rest a bit more comfortable. I think i have more time to spend. I'l stop here. If you want to listen to me i'll wait. You can (also) pretend to not come but (please) come soon!

The last line makes me think of someone waiting for a girl (or a man) in a wheatfield like if they have decided to meet there. The man has something to say to the other one who's supposed to come "If you want to listen to me, i'll wait (you here in the field)" and also "i stop here" which sounds more likely "I seat there" as if the man started walking in that field and decided that it was enough and sat where he stopped walking. And the end "fingi pure di non venire ma vieni presto" sounds like "the person i had to talk with here, wants me to believe she/he will not come, but i know she/he will, so i'm saying "hurry here, i know you will come anyway"

maybe :)

I really love this song and especially the lyrics, they make me think of the wheatfields of my countryside that i see while travelling by train at the end of summer
