to me this song is about my first job.
it was at a shop & was awesome & my friends worked there & my bosses were the best, but i worked at a checkout sometimes & i had to sell people smokes, which got 2 me after getting 2 know the regulars who came in.
i felt like i was supporting the industry who make a living from killing people. my friends didn't like it either but weren't too fussed but to me i felt like there was blood on my hands and i was a sellout so i gave them notice & quit.
i would have gotten a massive bonus if i stayed a few days longer but i couldn't do it any longer, but they were understanding & i have no regrets.
