Yeah, like cursedfairytale said. 1979, 16 year old Brenda Spencer opened fire on Cleveland Elementary School. Killed two men, wounded 8 students, and 1 police officer. The two men she killed were the school's principal who was attempting to rescue children in the line of fire, and a custodian who was attempting to aid him. She used the rifle her father had given her as a gift. When asked as to why she did this, she simply stated "I don't like Mondays, this livens up the day." She also made a lot of other comments later, such as "There was no reason for it, and it was just a lot of fun"; "It was just like shooting ducks in a pond"; and "They looked like a herd of cows standing around, it was really easy pickings." The fact that she didn't kill any of the children she shot at, was actually sheer dumb luck rather than any reluctance on her part. She was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. So basically, yeah that's everything(there is more, such as the fact she's been up for parole 4 times, but that's another story), and obviously this song was orignally done by the boomtown rats, most people know this.
