Surprise, surprise: I found this song in "Vampires" as well. Concerning the game the meaning is of course a description of the life as a vampire. A "monster" that has to pretend to be human and is forced to live alone, so the humans never note who they really are (Quotation marks because in the song the humans are described as the monsters).
However, the real meaning behind this song is on a psychological base. It's about a person that doesn't fit the society and has to live alone all the time because of it. He/she uses a mask in the situations that are needed (Within the job, I guess there's not much more) to live a life, but in the rest he/she spends the time alone at home. In addition he/she doesn't want to face any problems again because the hope of any improvements in life is simply gone. Or to say it in the words of the song: There's nothing left for him/her, so there is no need to crawl and fall again in life until the death comes and gives the final freedom.
